Dear Debbie, Its been a little while but just a quick note to say thanks again for the great experience we always have coming to Nepean Motor Group. My youngest and I were in the hood yesterday when he said , " Dad lets call in and have a look at the new Beetle " . We did, we like it , but more to the point although I had my back to him, Stephen recognized me and came over to meet and greet with his usual charm and good manners, he certainly is a credit to you and the company. The fact that he has been there for so long too generates the belief you appreciate what he does as well. I travel all over the country as part of my work and being a car lover often if I have a few moments up my sleeve and will have a noisy to see what's new. Going to some dealerships is a worse experience than having a Colonoscopy , trust me I'm over 50 , I know... In our modest home (according to the neighbours) we are the St Clair branch of Nepean Motor Group boasting 10 cars, being 8 quality Volkswagen's, a Porsche 911 Carrera 996 (big VW) and a Toyota Landcruiser which will be replaced by either an Amarok or V8 Touareg at some point in the near future. Our redneck next door neighbour springs me when I attack the letterbox with " Crikey Mate you got more VW's than that Debbie Clark from the radio " . "A happy and positive time"
Dear Debbie, I have just completed the questionnaire and survey sent to us but felt that I would like to expand a little. From the moment we walked onto the lot we were pleasantly surprised. Jessica approached us quite quickly but gave us space and time when we asked. We than spoke to Michael Andrews who again let us know he was there when we needed him but did not hover over us or make us feel pressured in any way. It is a common perception that car salespeople are “pushy” but we did not feel in any way rushed. We had our test drive and then went away, had lunch and thought it over. We returned in the afternoon with a final decision (I think they were a little surprised we returned so quickly, and so were we !) and from then to delivery Michael and Grant could not have been more friendly, helpful and professional. The whole team at Jeep made the experience of buying a new car a happy and positive time. We had to return on the Sunday morning because we were having trouble with the bluetooth connection (which was our fault) but Michael went through the procedure again and problem sorted ! I don’t know how many car salespeople give out their business card with their personal mobile phone number written on it in case of any problems but I don’t expect it would be a common thing, but we have Michael’s. He also offered to come to our home on his day off with a Compass to put my concerns to rest that the car would fit into our garage. I know that at the end of the day it is a sales persons job to be pleasant and helpful to customers but we feel that your team at Jeep go just that little bit further to also show their personal side which makes for a relaxing and very happy experience. Our journey begins back on 7th October 2012. A friend of mine, who has a common acquaintance of Stuart Young, referred me to your dealership. On seeking Stuart, we, my wife and I, were referred to Hayley, who welcomed us like we were being adopted into a new family. Hayley was very courteous and patient, taking the time to show us vehicles with similar trim to the options we were interested in. Never having been in a Passat before, Hayley encouraged us to indulge in a test drive. Hayley kept us informed of the build and delivery progress of our car. Carlos honoured our referral by offering an acceptable discount. Michelle arranged our comprehensive insurance through Allianz. Jaro, taking us on a tour of the dealership, highlighted all the facilities your dealership has to offer. During the vehicle delivery, Jaro spent considerable time moving from the back through to the front of the vehicle, showing us all the features available. Overall I have been very impressed with the experience of purchasing the Passat from your dealership.

This is the first car I've purchased in 20 years and was expecting the sales people to persistent and pushy (as in the past), but I found everyone to very pleasant and friendly and even answered some of my possible silly questions. Being a woman, I felt very comfortable with Casey approaching me in the car yard. She asked what I was interested in & showed me a few variations of the Swift & explained what features were different from one to the other. She offered me a test drive, which we did at the time, discussed $$$ & then Grant joined us to talk trade ins & final $$$. I decided I wanted to go away for 1/2hr to think things through, which they both fully understood. At no time did I feel under pressure to make a decision right then. Needless to say I came back & signed up for the car. Casey was fabulous from the time we met in the car yard to delivery & a couple of phone calls since. Dear VW, I wanted to reach out and thank your Penrith Service Department, and especially your department lead that day. Unfortunately, I did not write her name down, but when you walk into the service department from the main door, her office was one of the larger ones but on the right. She has dark, shoulder length hair. We started our 36 day Australian vacation and headed out from Sydney on July 9, 2012, driving an Apollo rental vehicle that is VW made. On Tuesday, July 10, 2012, we had just pulled into the Katoomba Campervan park when our exhaust light came on. After contacting Apollo road side, and after numerous calls back and forth between ourselves, Apollo and VW, the decision was made to have the vehicle towed back to Penrith. The transaction and commensurate decision took nearly all day to make, and when we pulled into the dealership in our rental car at about 1415 hours, we were initially told that there was no one to look at the vehicle until the next morning. I was distraught, especially since we have a daughter with food allergies and travel by camper van so I can accommodate her special dietary needs. Overhearing my dilemma, she immediately came out and assisted me. When I explained our situation, she was very understanding and asked us to please take a seat. Within a few minutes, she came out and said she had someone looking at the vehicle and would keep us posted. And luckily, within the hour she had the situation taken care of and we were back on the road to Katoomba! I am so mad at myself for not remembering her name but am grateful for the kind, customer-focused service she gave us that day. She is a TREMENDOUS credit to the Penrith dealership as was the technician(s) that agreed to help us out that day, too. I hope there's a way for you to determine who she was, and more importantly, to thank her again and offer her the credit she's due for helping a desperate traveller in a less than ideal circumstance. "Buying the car was fantastic"
Overall service from Nav when buying the car was fantastic and we have told him we will be back in the next 6 - 12 months to upgrade anther car but we want to deal with Nav when doing this. He answered all of our questions unlike some other dealers who to us, seemed to not take us seriously. We explained to Nav we wanted to purchase a car right now - today and we were serious and Nav did take us serious, hence the reason we purchased and collected the car within 24 hours. Nav also took care of our daughter by buying her a muffin and drink to keep her occupied - this service that we were given helped greatly and definitely made us feel comfortable and welcome. We are currently looking at the Volkswagen but have told Nav we would like to deal with him at the time we come back to trade our other car. Realistically, people have an opinon about 'car sales men', majority are 'gift of the gab' gentlemen, Nav on the other hand was not like that - although he needs to make his sales and targets - to us - Nav seemed to know what he was talking about and didn't feed us with 'crap' - well he made us believe that and that itself is a good salesmen. -Cherilyn and David Spence FEB 2012

Nothing beats trust
My wife and I purchased a new Suzuki Kizashi from you, (the silver touring demo) Given my age (43) one would expect that over the years I have purchased a number of vehicles, in addition, my father owned car yards in Parks when I was a boy. So, I do feel somewhat qualified in passing the following information onto you. The sale was delivered my John PORTELLI. Never in my years of purchasing vehicles have I had such a pleasurable experience. On attending your dealership I was not too sure as to what direction I was going, all I knew was my wife wanted a new car. I had always admired the Kizashi however thought it was a little too expansive for our needs. (second car) enter John, as I am very aware of typical sales pitches I was a little wary. John got off to a great start by simply focusing on the car and not my ability/willingness to purchase a vehicle. This was the beginning of our relationship. From that point on right up to the day we picked up our new car John was an absolute professional. John was very helpful throughout our dealings and displayed a very impressive work ethic and decency toward my wife and I. You have a great employee in John but I'm sure you already know that. From my humble view your dealership has come a long way from where things were three years ago, and it's a credit to you and your fantastic staff. Thank you for the experience. By the way, the policy you have adopted where customers can take the car for a number of hours (on their own) is a real winner for you. Nothing beats trust and trust reflects mutual commitment. I hate buying cars. As a 50something female I was not looking forward to the experience- especially as I had just sold my much loved mid-life-crisis Audi TT- and needed something more 'grandmotherly'. I did my research on line and went to test drive my final four options. As usual, I was almost invisible- the salesmen talking through me to my husband, despite his comments that it was my car and the purchase decision was mine. Then we came to Nepean Motor Group. What a difference! Jonathan Barbara could not have been more helpful- and his youthful and honest approach was so refreshing- none of the typical car salesman spiels. I took two cars for a test drive (the other being a Nissan)- and returned the next day to purchase the Mitsubishi. Congratulations on having such a great team- Jonathan is really outstanding- Kim (finance) was fabulous- Wayne (who range to advise my car had arrived EARLY!) was lovely. I could not have had a better experience. Thankyou to you and your team. FYI- I got a follow up call from the Nissan guy- cant recall his name- tall with a European accent- who was disapointed I didn't go for the Nissan and asked if I purchased from Nepan Motor Group and was genuienly pleased when I told him I had. I would like to say that Carlos & Jonathon went out of their way to secure a Trade In Committment from the Wholesalers, as well as Troy Sammutt, who did a lot of work in securing me the Finance that I required! I had frequented a number of other Dealerships with similar Vans, that I required for my Business, who took one look at the klms, my trade in had done, & told me they couldn't help me! Your Team were genuine in helping me achieve a favourable outcome, especially after the experience I had when I purchased my Trade in - then a New 2007 VW Transporter from Liverpool McGraths & had Problems from the Start! Servicing your car and your needs...
I am very happy with the overall service experience. The service staff at registration were clear on the service being performed, communicated the expected time for completion of the service and advised options for the ongoing service intervals (particularly as the car doesn't get driven that often/far). I also appreciated the courtesy drop off back home, important with balancing family commitments with the school run (not to mention the opportunity to have breakfast in the cafe). We see the ads on TV about servicing outside dealerships, but having had a bad experience with a previous vehicle (not a Mitsubishi), I recognise the importance of dealership service and will continue this in the future. I had a 10k service on Nissan Murano yesterday and was impressed with the service and appreciative of the time given by Rob when dropping off and picking up the car. A refreshing experience
I wish to convey my very enthusiastic thanks for your refreshing dealership experience. Mr Guevara was the pivotal person in my deal on a Golf GTI (and what a brilliant car). He was most pleasant and helpful and so was Jonathan when it was his day off. Ms Kim McDonald and Mr Sammut were extremely helpful in getting my finance sorted out. The dealership experience was so positive that my fiancé even considered buying a Golf R, and drove it, wherein other dealerships made her feel unenthused and nervous. I had been to a local dealership 5 times prior and nobody was interested in crunching the numbers. Another dealership had a demo Golf car (with 7000km mind you) with rubbish in it, broken cup holders, scuff marks, and part of the dashboard missing for $48000 ! Also, the demo R they had came with a baby seat in the back. When I questioned was it a special vw option he said "nah the boss's been driving round in it". Thats funny! This is my first ever new car so wasn't sure what to expect. To be honest i have been overwhelmed by the customer service. We went to the Mazda dealership in Penrith first and left after 45 minutes of not even being offered a test drive or a price.
